Deucaliōn, ōnis, m. (Δευκαλίων), Sohn des Prometheus, König von Phthia in Thessalien, rettete sich allein mit seiner Gemahlin Pyrrha aus der von Jupiter zur Vertilgung des Menschengeschlechts gesandten Wasserflut u. stellte dann mit Hilfe der Pyrrha das menschliche Geschlecht durch Rücklingswerfen von Steinen, aus denen dadurch Menschen wurden, wieder her, Ov. met. 1, 318 sq.
