Fundānius, a, Name einer röm. gens, aus der besond. bekannt: C. Fundanius, Schwiegervater Varros, Varro r. r. 1, 2, 1, u. Fundania, Gemahlin Varros, ibid. 1, 1, 1. – ferner C. Fundanius, Freund Ciceros und von diesem verteidigt, Cic. ad Q. fr. 1, 2, 3. § 10. Q. Cic. de pet. cons. 19. – endlich Fundanius, Lustspieldichter zur Zeit des Horaz und von diesem wohl nur zunächst als glücklicher Nachbildner des Menander, Philemon usw. gerühmt, Freund des Mäcenas, Hor. sat. 1, 10, 42; 2, 8, 19.
