astrion, ī, n. (ἀστήρ), ein indischer Edelstein, der von innen wie ein Stern mit dem Glanze des Vollmonds leuchtet, nach einigen die weißliche Art des Sternsaphirs, nach andern unser Adular, Plin. 37, 132. Isid. 16, 13, 7.
