Atēius, ī, m., röm. Eigenname, I) C. Ateius Capito, röm. Volkstribun im J. 55 v. Chr., Cic. de div. 1, 29 u.a. Tac. ann. 3, 45. – II) C. Ateius Capito, Sohn des vorigen, ein berühmter Jurist, bekannt als Gegner des nicht minder berühmten O. Antistius Labeo, Fest. 238, 12 (b). Plin. ind. libr. 4. Plin. 14, 93. Tac. ann. 1, 76.
