(κατάβασις), das Hinabsteigen, als Bezeichnung der Trauerzeit bei der Festfeier der Magna Mater, wahrsch. weil die Fichte (das Symbol des entmannten u. gestorbenen Attis) zu Pessinus in eine höhlenartige Gruft hinabgetragen wurde (nach Preller Röm. Mythol.3 Bd. 2. S. 387 f.), Macr. sat. 1, 21,10.
